Author Bio
Catherine J. Manning is a children’s book writer and editor in Los Angeles. She loves going on quests at the beach and wearing fuzzy socks (usually not at the same time). Catherine lives with her husband, her son, and her sassy cat.
Melanie Demmer is an American artist born and raised in
Plymouth, Michigan. She has been drawing since she was a little girl.
Back then, her favorite canvas was pavement and her go-to tool was
sidewalk chalk. Nowadays, Melanie typically works digitally but also
enjoys creating artwork with watercolor, markers, colored pencils, and
acrylic paint. Oh, and sometimes a pinch of glitter, too! Melanie now
